Ohio State radio host gives pathetic Michigan-Ohio State take that will have fans dying laughing

Michigan basketball won the national championship for the first time in 37 years on Monday night, and Ohio State fans aren't ok.

Michigan State fans aren't either. Both fanbases have been accusing Michigan of "cheating", saying that Dusty May tampered to put together his roster, even though there is no evidence of that.

Michigan's coaches even pushed back on that after winning the national championship, calling the rumors "envious."

Regardless, that hasn't stopped fans from calling Michigan basketball a team of "mercenaries." There is also a narrative that the national championship "won't be remembered," even though literally nobody was saying the same thing when Indiana won a national championship with a transfer quarterback, running back, and a roster built mostly on transfers.

It's a narrative cooked up just to try and explain away Michigan's championship because they can't cope with the Wolverines success.

Some fans have taken it a step further, like to the point of insanity.

Some Ohio State fans have lost their minds over Michigan's national championship

Ken Carman, a local radio host in Ohio, is one such fan. He went as far as to argue that Ohio State fans had a better year than Michigan fans.

Carman doesn't explain what a "year" was. If he was talking about the year of coming sports between football and basketball, or, even if he meant just the year of 2026, he's completely lost touch with reality.

Ohio State football was knocked out in the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoff after going 0-2 in the postseason. The Buckeyes were also defeated in the Big Ten title game, extending their Big Ten title drought in football, which dates back to 2020.

The Ohio State basketball team did improve under Jake Diebler, making the NCAA Tournament and winning a game. That still pales in comparison to winning the national title, winning the Big Ten, and, for the record, beating Ohio State three times.

Dusty May, the coach Ohio State fans once mocked, is 4-0 against the Buckeyes.

It's understandable that Ohio State fans would try to explain away Michigan's title. But saying Ohio State fans had a "better year" when their football and basketball teams haven't won any championship since the first month of 2025, doesn't hold water.

Furthermore, of the three national titles won by Michigan and OSU in the two sports, the Buckeyes' clearly ranks third.

Both Michigan teams won the Big Ten and beat Ohio State, in addition to winning it all. The Wolverines also won all games against Michigan State, too.

So Michigan won the Big Ten, beat its rivals, and won the national championship. Ohio State's 2024 team just won the national championship. It didn't even make the Big Ten title game.
