After another epic win on Saturday, which included rallying from 10 points down to beat Texas A&M, Michigan basketball is headed back to the Sweet 16.

It's the sixth consecutive NCAA tournament trip for the Michigan basketball team that has ended in the Sweet 16. It was also the eighth Sweet 16 appearance since 2013.

Up next for the Michigan Wolverines will be top-seeded Auburn. The Tigers were the top overall seed in the tournament and are No. 1 in the South Region.

Michigan basketball will head to the South Regional which is in Atlanta. The Wolverines will play Auburn on Friday night at 9:39 PM EST on CBS. The game will follow Michigan State and Ole Miss.

Facing Auburn will be tough but the Tigers also have to play a five seed in Michigan basketball, which is more like a three seed. Even the Michigan Wolverines head man Dusty May said after the win over Texas A&M that Michigan basketball was underseeded.

“I felt UCSD was very underseeded,” May said after the Michigan basketball win on Saturday. “I thought A&M and us were two heavyweights that it was going to be a prize fight."

It was a prize fight and the Michigan Wolverines won. Next up is Auburn, which opened as a 7.5-point favorite.

Michigan Wolverines knocked out by Notre Dame

The Michigan Wolverines were knocked out of the women's basketball tournament on Sunday after a 76-55 defeat. Notre Dame flew out of the gates with 32 points in the opening stanza and the Wolverines never recovered.

Olivia Olson scored 20 points in the loss. Syla Swords, another freshman, added 17. They were the only Michigan basketball players to score in double figures in the loss. The Wolverines finished the season 23-11 with three freshmen starters.

Jim Harbaugh gives pre-game speech to Anaheim Ducks

The former Michigan Wolverines head football coach, Jim Harbaugh, was doing one of the things he does best: pre-game speehces on Sunday night. Only this time Harbaugh delivered a pre-game speech to the Anaheim Ducks.

It was classic Harbaugh. He talked about the bow and arrow, which he said the Anaheim head coach told him about. Harbaugh got "fired up" and talked about his "heart pumping."

He told the Ducks what he used to tell his Michigan football players: Play for as long as you can, as hard as you can. At any rate, it's always cool to see Jim Harbaugh in his element.
