The Michigan men's and women's tennis teams are heading up for the postseason after a successful regular season and Big Ten Tournaments. After finishing 8-5 on the season and an exit in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament, the men's team is heading to Austin for their ninth regional in a row where they will take on Cornell in the first round on Saturday, May 3 at 11:00 a.m. EST.
Women's tennis finished the season 23-5, but sadly fell in the Big Ten Championship to bitter rival Ohio State. However, even after a loss in the championship, the women's team is hosting their own regional and will face Youngstown Town in the first round on Friday, May 2, at 1:00 p.m. EST.

Fred Richard sweeps Big Ten Gymnastics All-America honors
Michigan men's gymnastics has had a huge season, capping it off with a National Championship, their seventh in team history. This was their first title since they won it back in 2014, over 10 years ago. The title was also followed by an engagement from Paul Juda, a story that brought tears to everyone's eyes.
Now with the season in the books, All-America honors are being handed out, and Michigan's own Fred Richard has made men's gymnastics history. Richard has become the first gymnast to earn All-America honors on all six events and all-around in one single season.
Richard was also named a team captain for the 2026 season.

Michigan baseball and softball season update
Michigan baseball is coming off a series sweep over Michigan State in Ann Arbor, in which the Wolverines scored at least six runs in all three games. The Wolverines are currently riding a four-game win streak into their weekend series against Ohio State, in which they will travel to Columbus.
Right now, Michigan sits at 27-17 on the season, and with the NCAA Tournament just around the corner, are currently sitting as the First Four Out. A win in their series this weekend against Ohio State would be huge, as they only have three Big Ten series left in the season and two non-conference games.
Michigan softball is currently in the middle of another strong season, sitting at 32-18 with a 9-10 record in the Big Ten. The Wolverines are currently coming off being swept by UCLA last weekend, but are gearing up for a competitive matchup against Minnesota this weekend.
