It's been hard to watch Jim Harbaugh, the former Michigan football head coach, have so much success with the Chargers.

Not that I'm not happy for Jim. I am. I want him to win a Super Bowl with the Chargers and don't think that idea is that far-fetched.

Harbaugh is one of the best coaches on the planet. I truly believe in my hearts of hearts that no other coach -- not even Nick Saban or Kirby Smart -- could have won a national title at Michigan. That's how hard it is and Harbaugh did it, fair and square.

He's also winning in the NFL again. With essentially the same team that missed the playoffs a year ago, the former Michigan Wolverines headman has the Chargers at 7-3. And according to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, a bunch of NFL teams regret that they didn't hire him.

"The amount of regret some teams have for not hiring Jim Harbaugh when they had the chance...It's very real," Schultz wrote on X citing a text from an NFC GM.

It's hard to blame teams. Jim Harbaugh will have the Chargers in the playoffs this season and contending for the Super Bowl before long, while others will have to stand by and think about what might have been.

Wisconsin aiming to flip Michigan Wolverines commitment

There has been plenty of talk about the Michigan Wolverines trying to flip other commitments in the 2025 class such as five-star QB Bryce Underwood.

However, Michigan football has to guard against some flips too. The Wisconsin Badgers are one team targeting a Michigan football commitment and that's four-star DL Jaylen Williams. At 6-foot-6, 265 pounds and ranked No. 299 overall in the 2025 class according to the 247 Sports composite rankings, Williams is one of my personal favorites in the 2025 class.

Williams reminds me of Mike Morris -- a dude who can be elite against the run but also rush the passer. He visited Wisconsin for the Oregon game according to On3.com over the weekend as the Badgers try to build momentum towards a flip.

Stay tuned bot losing Williams would sting.
