The 2025 Michigan football season is getting closer, and on Wednesday, the Wolverines started fall camp.

Players reported earlier this week. Wednesday is the first day of practice. On Tuesday, Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore, players, and coaches posted "#IMLocked" on their social media accounts.

Just like in the days of Jim Harbaugh, it feels like Michigan is headed into a bunker. That's the kind of mentality you want. it's likely that the pads won't come on until this weekend, so don't expect a ton of intel, but it's exciting nonetheless.

Mason Graham stands out in Browns training camp

Former Michigan football quarterback J.J. McCarthy has been throwing darts in Minnesota Vikings training camp. However, he's not the only former Wolverine turning heads.

There was a video posted on Tuesday of Mason Graham bulldozing his way past Pro-Bowl guard Wyatt Teller. Some rival fans have tried to say Graham was going to struggle in the NFL.

So far, that doesn't appear to be the case. Graham looks ready to dominate in the league, just like he did for Michigan football.

Michigan football players on award watch lists

Giovanni El-Hadi is the latest Michigan football player to make a preseason award watch list. El-Hadi, who is expected to start at guard for the Wolverines, was named to the Outland Trophy Watch List on Tuesday, which is the award given out to college football's best offensive lineman.

Justice Haynes, who transferred from Alabama after averaging 5.9 yards per carry as a running back the past two seasons, was named to the Maxwell Award Watch List. That's the award for the best player in college football.

It's prestigious for Haynes to be on that list and shows the kind of season some believe he could have with the Michigan Wolverines in 2025.
