A win can mean different things to different people. For freshmen, it is a lot of firsts; for seniors, it is a lot of lasts. Michigan fifth-year senior Will Tschetter is able to enjoy this last ride with the Wolverines.
Michigan beat the final SEC team in the NCAA Tournament, six-seed Tennessee, on Sunday, and some would definitely say it was a beatdown. The Wolverines came out firing with a huge 95-62 win over the Volunteers to punch their ticket to the Final Four for the first time since 2018.
Tschetter has been on this Wolverines team for five years, has seen the ups and certainly seen the downs, and when Michigan made it to the Final Four, he let all the emotions out. In a video caught after the game, Tschetter was visibly emotional as, after five years, he is finally on the mountaintop and is just two games away from becoming a National Champion.

Tschetter's time at Michigan has not always been rainbows and butterflies. At one point, the Wovlerines went 8-24 and felt like they were never going to find success on the hardwood. Enter in head coach Dusty May, who has brought success to this program in ways some didn't think were possible this fast.
Even after some rough seasons, Tschetter decided to stick with the Wolverines and his loyalty has paid off big time. Averaging just 3.7 points per game, Tschetter is a guy May has been able to rely on in moments when Michigan needs a big man and he has made the difference.
Now, five years later, he can call himself a Big Ten Champion and hopefully soon he will be able to call himself a National Champion.
