Elliott Cadeau is fine after a scare from an allergic reaction
Cadeau was one of the high-profile transfers to join the Wolverines this season after spending two years at North Carolina. The New York-born guard has started all 38 games this season and is averaging 10.2 points per game and 5.8 assists. He's been playing at a high level over the past two games in the tournament with 17 points, seven assists and six rebounds in the Sweet 16 win over Alabama and chipping in eight points and 10 assists in the blowout win over Tennessee in the Elite Eight.
As evident all season, and especially in the tournament, Cadeau has been the perfect driver for the engine that is the Michigan offense.Â
"These last two games, we felt like, offensively, we could get anything we wanted to," Cadeau said Sunday after the win over Tennessee. "We didn't have to make any home run plays. We could just hit singles and score every time. That was our mentality going into the game those last two games."
With Cadeau expected to be fine and with the team later int he day, the Wolverines will be at full strength on Saturday night for their Final Four showdown against Arizona in the game where the winner is likely to be the heavy favorite to win the national championship in Monday night's final.Â
