Michigan football fans desperately want the Wolverines to add a wide receiver from the transfer portal and a new name has emerged recently -- Skyler Bell.

Bell played for UConn this season. Before that, he played two seasons in the Big Ten and was a productive player for the Wisconsin Badgers.

The 6-foot, 190-pound wideout was stellar for the Huskies this season catching 47 passes for 784 yards and four touchdowns this season. Bell had four games this season with over 100 yards and two of them came against Power-4 opponents.

Bell caught five passes for 141 yards against Maryland. He also caught 10 passes for 113 yards. However, Bell did have five games with under 50 yards receiving, although just four with fewer than 40 yards receiving.

Despite entering the transfer portal, Bell played in the Fenway Bowl with his team on Saturday against North Carolina and put on a show with three receptions for 77 yards and a touchdown. The Huskies beat North Carolina 27-14 to win their ninth game of the season.

Bell had at least one reception of 20 yards or more in nine different games this season. He also had receptions of 70 and 63 yards. The veteran with one year of eligiblity left also caught 57 passes in two seasons for Wisconsin so there shouldn't be a huge adjustment going back to the Big Ten, if Bell were to tranfser to Michigan football.

The former Big Ten wideout might be the Wolverines top target at the position and with his explosive play-making ability, it's easy to see why.
