Nick Abrams II, hailing from Owings Mills, Maryland, attends McDonogh High School, where he has made a name for himself as a versatile linebacker. Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 210 pounds, Abrams is described as a "game wrecker" due to his speed, versatility, and playmaking ability.
Abrams' recruitment has been gaining momentum, with Michigan State being one of the latest programs to offer. According to reports, Michigan State's Chad Wilt (surprisingly) was the one to offer. With Wilt being a rush ends coach; it could mean coaches see Abrams playing multiple positions in college.
Keep an eye on Michigan football with Nick Abrams
Before Michigan football entered the equation, Abrams had already been offered by Alabama, Penn State, Georgia Tech, and many more. It would be phenomenal if the Wolverines could land this coveted prospect. He could be the 20's-decade Devin Bush or play around the field like Jabrill Peppers.
It could be difficult to keep Abrams from going South though. Clemson entered the mix back in late January and Alabama and Kentucky are pushing hard. Abrams isn't a recruit that Michigan football will want to miss out on. He's a completely overlooked player by recruiting boards and has received much love from Michigan fans online.
I personally believe the Wolverines can close out this recruitment. Sherrone Moore has shown no hesitation to throw the bag around, not to mention what he's already building in Ann Arbor. As our own Jordan Bruetsch said back in November, "The 2026 class should be top five in the country." Recruits are flocking to be a part of the next great thing. Abrams would be smart to follow suite.
