If there is one thing that the big teams in the Big Ten love to do, it is pick on Penn State and head football coach James Franklin. To be fair, he brings it upon himself most of the time with the things he chooses to do.

In Penn State's Spring Game this past weekend, a video has been going around of Franklin getting into a verbal argument with a fan in the stands over who knows what. This is not the first time Franklin has been caught arguing with a fan in the stands, and now it looks like this could become a normal thing.

While it can't be heard what exactly Franklin and the fans were talking about, it is clear that whatever was said did not make Franklin happy to the point where he pulled assistants off the field to potentially try and help ID the fans or just help him in his argument.

James Franklin still has yet to break into the top tier of the Big Ten with Penn State

Michigan and Ohio State fans are never ones to agree on anything, but if there is one thing they can find a sliver of common ground on, it is that Penn State is basically the younger brother of the two schools.

Both Michigan and Ohio State have been to the mountaintop of college football, with both schools winning National Championships in the last two seasons, and both are constantly fighting over Big Ten titles. While Penn State is a good football team, they can never seem to get back the Wolverines and the Buckeyes.

Franklin is doing his best at Penn State, simply just trying to get past these two top-tier teams in the Big Ten, however, he just can't seem to get over the hump. Both Michigan and Ohio State beat Penn State out in recruiting and on the field, and Franklin still arguing with fans in the stands is not a good look for the team.

While Franklin was able to get Penn State to the College Football Playoff this past season, the Nittany Lions were unable to get past Notre Dame, who went on to lose to Ohio State in the National Championship.
