Ohio State fans already hate Fox Sports Big Noon Kickoff, but that anger could reach another level if a rumored deal between Fox and Barstool Sports, led by Michigan superfan Dave Portnoy comes to fruition.

This rumored deal came to light on Wednesday. It would be a partnership between Barstool and Fox Sports. Portnoy would reportedly be part of Big Noon Kickoff. Barstool Sports would also be featured on Fox Sports 1.

This was first reported by Front Office Sports. Ohio State fans, who have spent months complaining about Fox wanting its most important game at Noon, instead of in the evening, now have something new to complain about.

So when it was reported that Portnoy, who has been trolling Ohio State over Michigan football's success dating back to 2021, could join the Fox Kickoff show, they, of course, lost their minds. Here was the reaction from Portnoy.

"These are nothing more than rumors at this point. But all the crying from Columbus is making me feel like it’s Thanksgiving Day weekend again and Michigan is pounding a hapless Buckeye team into the mud for the billionth straight year," Portnoy wrote on X.

Michigan has won four straight over Ohio State. The Buckeyes were fortunate enough to win the championship, which the Wolverines also did in 2023. They just did it better, actually beating their rival by winning "The Game," and also winning The Big Ten, as well as going undefeated.

Some fans will love this move. Portnoy reaches a new audience and Barstool has dabbled in broadcasting games. More traditional fans, who favor old-school analysis, probably won't appreciate Portnoy, but Michigan fans do, especially the way he rubs Ohio State fans the wrong way.

Update: The content deal between Fox and Barstool Sports is official
