The Wolverines turned it over numerous times in the first 20 minutes in what felt like a carry-over from the Wake Forest loss and were still ahead by three at halftime. The second half was cleaner in front of a sellout crowd in the Crisler Center. It was the first meeting between the two schools in 62 years on the hardwood with the same result.

Here's three of the takeaways from the definitive Michigan basketball win.

1. Two TCU starters scored virtually half of their points

Trazarien White and Brendan Wenzel accounted for 31 of the 64 points, the Horned Frogs put up on Friday night. For Wenzel, it was a season-high, while White matched the 16 he put forth on Tuesday in the Texas State victory. No one else had more than nine points for the Horned Frogs.

TCU was missing their big man in the middle, Ernest Udeh, who they could have used to bang inside with Vlad Goldin and Danny Wolf. As a result of his absence, Michigan basketball outrebounded the Horned Frogs by 12, 29 came on the defensive end. Also mentioned during the broadcast was that Michigan has one of the tallest rosters in college, a year after only having one player over 6'10''.

The one-time Wolverine, Frankie Collins returned to his original college choice and struggled from the field, but did have a posturizing dunk over Goldin in the second half that was vicious. He matched his season-low of seven points that he had in the Florida Gulf Coast win a week ago.
