With under six minutes in the first half, Ace Bailey gave Rutgers the 21-20 upper hand. Michigan basketball rallied and never let the Scarlet Knights get in front again. The only thing that could have rubbed some people the wrong way would be that the Wolverines didn't cover because of the Jamichael Davis 3-pointer made at the buzzer. His 20-point outburst was not enough in the end.

Here's some of the takeaways from another irreplaceable road win to boast its resume.

1. Every Wolverine who played contributed in some fashion

Nine Wolverines saw the floor on Saturday and all of them got on the board. Vlad Goldin was 75% from the field and Danny Wolf collected a double-double. All nine Wolverines were in for 10 plus minutes or more as well. Justin Pippen benefited the most as he saw extended time because Nimari Burnett was in foul trouble. Burnett had his worst outing since the Minnesota loss.

The bench was vital in Saturday's win. They were outscored by Jamichael Davis and Tyson Acuff, but Rutgers tied its second lowest point total in 22 appearances.

Will Tschetter was the most efficient in 10 minutes. Sam Walters was 100% from deep. While Rubin Jones also saw a lot of action with Burnett riding the pine.
