Any talk of Kenneth Grant, the dominant Michigan football defensive tackle, falling out of the first round of the 2025 NFL draft ended quickly Thursday night in Green Bay.

The Miami Dolphins selected Grant with the 13th overall pick. With the tremendous upside he possesses, that's not at all surprising.

At 6-foot-3, 340 pounds, Grant has a proven ability to stop the run and rush the passer. He didn't pass rush as much at Michigan as he will in the NFL, but Grant had 6.5 sacks over the past two seasons, in addition to 12 tackles for loss.

Grant was a three-star recruit coming out of high school, however, it was clear right away to Jim Harbaugh that Grant was something special. The former Michigan football head coach, now the head coach of the Chargers, called Grant, "A gift from the football gods."

That comment was also directed at Mason Graham. Some people scoffed at Harbaugh when he said it. Yet, he was 100 percent correct. Both of those guys, neither ranked in the top 200 of the 247 Sports composite rankings, ended up as top-15 picks.

Loveland, another first-round pick, was also ranked outside the top 200. In Grant, the Dolphins are getting a super-athletic defensive tackle who has a chance to be one of the biggest steals in this draft class.

It's a great day to be a Michigan Wolverine.
