Records are made to be broken and Michigan basketball keeps setting new ones at a rapid pace this season. The Wolverines handed Gonzaga their worst loss under Mark Few, tied their own 3-point record with 19 against Oakland, won at the Breslin Center, Mackey Arena, and State Farm Arena in the span of a month, and have lost only two games by a touchdown. Not to mention that six of seven ranked wins have come by double figures. These are some of the biggest program records that they have clipped since the marathon began in November.
Most Big Ten road wins
Michigan basketball is one win away from going 10-0 on the road for the first time. If the Wolverines beat Iowa next week, they will boast that unmatched mark, which will be difficult to eclipse. That would mean that Wisconsin would be the only team that Michigan hasn't beaten in the Big Ten this year.
Historic Fact: The Michigan Wolverines have not gone undefeated in true road games for an entire season since joining the Big Ten in 1917.

Michigan is currently 10-0.
A chance at history if Michigan can win at Iowa next Thursday. It would be an unbelievable achievement.#B1G
Most Big Ten regular season wins
With each victory the Wolverines keep setting a milestone. 18 is the most wins ever by a Big Ten school in the regular season, set by Indiana, and Michigan can break that with two more chances on the docket. For now, 17-1 is the best start since the inception of the 20 game Big Ten schedule.
Most wins in a regular season
27 wins in 29 tries is staggering. 33 wins is the most that John Beilein ever won in a season and if the maize and blue make it to the sweet 16 without a loss, then they will have broken that record too. They can set the program record at 38 if they win out.
Fewest losses in a regular season
You have to go back 100 years or so, to the days of E.J Mather and George Veenker, to find out what were the fewest amount of losses during a Michigan basketball season that resulted in a Big Ten championship. Two would be the modern-day record, and it would be smashing a century-old record if Michigan basketball can avoid losing another contest in the season's last month.
Some other realistic records that Michigan will surely break this year include most quad one wins. They stand at 12, with two more oppurtunities remaining. Getting six wins in the NCAA tournament is doable and is something they've done only once before. Should Michigan win the national championship, it would arguably cap the greatest turnaround in college basketball history. It won't be Indiana football historic, but it would break a 26 year Big Ten title drought.
