Injuries have been a storyline for both teams leading up to The Game in Ann Arbor. Michigan will be without some key players against the Buckeyes, like running back Justice Haynes, but Ohio State has been dealing with some injuries as well.
All eyes in Columbus have been on Ohio State wide receivers Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate, and whether or not they would be ready to go for The Game. Michigan fans were holding onto hope that the Buckeyes would have to play without their two best wide receivers, but that wish will not come true.
On College GameDay, in Ann Arbor today, ESPN's Pete Thamel gave the update that both Ohio State and Michigan fans have been waiting for, and to the dismay of Wolverine fans, the Buckeyes will be very happy about it.
Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate will be available for Ohio State vs. Michigan

Both Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate will be good to go for Ohio State today, but even though Thamel gave the update Ohio State fans were hoping for, it comes with an asterisk.
Thamel's update said that while Tate and Smith are ready, they are still considered questionable for the game as they were limited in practice all week. Both guys will go through warmups and will play unless something happens.
Both Tate and Smith were dealing with lower-body injuries over the past couple of weeks. Tate missed three games due to the injury, and Smith only missed one, but he was also limited against UCLA a few weeks ago due to the injury.
There is no doubt that Michigan still game planned for Ohio State to have Tate and Smith on the field, so the defense will be ready, but this is not the update they were hoping to hear. Having both Smith and Tate back will make it very tough for the Wolverines, but with the game in Ann Arbor, Michigan will have a little more of an edge on Saturday.
