There is only one thing that Michigan fans may love more than watching Michigan win in the NCAA Tournament: watching Ohio State lose in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The Buckeyes were unable to come away with the close win over TCU, but instead, Bruce Thorton and his team are heading back to Columbus early.
While the Wolverines are preparing for their own first-round matchup later on Thursday, they had a lot of love watching their most bitter rival, Ohio State, lose. It can be confirmed that former Michigan basketball player Jalen Rose certainly did.
On CBS, Rose and his team were talking about the game between Ohio State and TCU, and when asked about his thoughts on Ohio State, Rose took his opportunity to get a dig in on his old rival.
"It's only right that they're the second-best basketball program in their own state," Rose said amongst laughter from his team. "Why don't we just call Miami THE Miami University?"

Jalen Rose completely blasts Ohio State after first round exit in the NCAA Tournament
One of the most annoying things that Ohio State does is refer to itself as "The Ohio State University," which not only Michigan fans detest, but everyone in college sports does. So, when Rose saw his opportunity to blast the Buckeyes, he certainly took it.
Miami Ohio has been a team many have talked about this season, being the last undefeated team until they fell in the MAC Tournament. However, even with the late loss, the Red Hawks were able to secure a bid in a play-in game and then beat SMU in their First Four matchup to now play Tennessee in the first round.
So Rose certainly wasn't wrong when he talked about Ohio State being the second-best team in the state of Ohio, and every Michigan fan will agree with him there.
