It was reported a month ago that the dynamic freshman wide receiver Andrew Marsh was going to return to the Michigan football team for the 2026 season.

However, there was one thing missing.

Michign put together an entire "LFG Team 147" campagin on social media. It started with offensive lineman Blake Frazier. Star quarterback Bryce Underwood followed soon after.

One player Michigan fans have been worried about, since even before the whole Sherrone Moore/Kyle Whittingham changed happened, was Marsh. He's the best receiver Michigan has had, at least as a freshman, since Mario Manningham.

Marsh caught 45 passes for 651 yards and four touchdowns playing in 13 games as a freshman for the Wolverines. His impact went beyond that, though, considering he didn't really have a role until the fifth game of the season.

Over the last nine games, he had 621 yards, which is an average of 72. Marsh had two seasons with over 100 yards receiving, including a 12-catch, 189-yard performance against Northwestern.

Andrew Marsh confirms he will be back for Michigan football

During the offseason, it was reported that Marsh had "agreed to terms" with the program to come back for next season. However, there wasn't a public announcement.

Even after the transfer portal closed, there was some concern about Marsh. That changed on Monday, as Marsh posted on his Instagram account that he will be back for the 2026 season. Putting him in a room alongside JJ Buchanan, Jaime French, and Salesi Moa, should give Underwood the kind of receiving talent he needs to succeed.

Full-steam ahead.
