For just the second time in their illustrious histories, Michigan and Oklahoma will play a college football game.

Saturday's game in Norman will be the first meeting between the two programs since 1976, when Oklahoma, coached by Barry Switzer, knocked off Bo Schembechler's Michigan football program in the Orange Bowl on January 1st, 1976.

This will be the first time Michigan football has played a game in Norman. Next season, the Sooners will return the favor with a game in Ann Arbor.

Sherrone Moore had two important updates for the Wolverines this week. Rod Moore's playing is "possible." The Michigan football head coach also said that tight end Hogan Hansen was "probable" to play on Saturday.
