It is time, Michigan fans. The Game is here, and the stakes could not be bigger. The Wolverines are now in a spot to not just extend their win streak against Ohio State, but a win of this caliber could vault Michigan into serious contention for a College Football Playoff spot.
There truly is no bigger game this season than the one right in front of Michigan, and they could not be in a better spot. The Wolverines will get to host College GameDay, play in their own stadium, and, with the latest announcement, have one legendary former player in town for the biggest game of the season.
Every week on College GameDay, the crew brings in a guest picker, usually a big-name fan of the team hosting, and Michigan certainly has had many. However, this guest picker is coming in at the right time to fire up not just the team but this fanbase to be as rowdy as possible, as he knows just what it takes to take down Ohio State, as he has done it many times before.

This is not the first time College GameDay has been in town for The Game, as it is one of the biggest rivalries in the country, and definitely one filled with the most hatred between the two teams. Last year, The Game ended with a Michigan victory, and the players were ready to celebrate immediately at the center of the field, which included planting a Michigan flag in the center of the "O" on the field. A major brawl broke out that involved police interference.
This is a huge game for both teams, but with Michigan hosting this year, College GameDay has brought in a star guest picker, one that Michigan fans will always love. The crew is bringing in Michigan native Aidan Hutchinson, now with the Detroit Lions, to be their guest picker.
Hutchinson was a hero in the first win during this streak over Ohio State back in 2021, as he was a major problem that opposing offenses had to deal with. The Michigan native was a Wolverine through and through and even got to stay in his home state after being drafted by the Detroit Lions in 2022 with the No. 2 pick in the NFL Draft.
This will make for a great show, especially at the end, as Hutchinson will get the crowd rallied for, again, the biggest game of the season.
