Talk about a blockbuster deal that's going to turn the NFL upside down in 2025. Moments ago, All-Pro pass-rusher Micah Parsons was traded by the Dallas Cowboys to the Green Bay Packers in the deal of the decade.

As soon as the trade was announced, everyone was wondering what the total package was. There was some quick speculation that former Michigan football first-round pick Rashan Gary could be on his way out of Green Bay and on the move to Arlington. Nope, not going to happen.

In the end, Brian Gutekunst and the Packers sent Jerry Jones and the Cowboys two first-round picks and nose tackle Kenny Clark. So, not only is Gary staying home with the Packers, but he's also going to have Parsons on the other end of the line of scrimmage from him?

Gary fans must have been sweating once the trade news popped up, but he's indeed staying put. Pairing Gary and Parsons together has got to be an awful feeling for the rest of the division. What do you think JJ McCarthy, Caleb Williams and Jared Goff are thinking right now?

That's nothing for Gary to worry about, as he's now going to get ready to take advantage of Parsons being in town. Gary was a former fan favorite with Michigan and it was a monster recruiting win at the time for former head coach Jim Harbaugh.

Gary, a 5-star pass-rusher out of Paramus Catholic High in New Jersey, was down to the Wolverines and Clemson. On Signing Day for the 2016 class, he was going back-and-forth between the two schools, but ultimately he put the pen to paper with the Wolverines.

That decision paid off big time for him, as he ended up being a first-rounder and he's been a monster in the trenches for the Packers ever since. With Parsons now getting ready to make plays with him, it's only a major plus for Gary. These two are going to be a powerful combo in 2025 and beyond. Good luck to opposing offensive linemen trying to slow them down.
