Michigan football could have up to four guys drafted on night one of the 2025 NFL draft, with three for certain to go in the first round.
Here's a look at each Michigan football player who has a chance to get selected in the opening round Thursday night in Green Bay.
DT: Mason Graham
Defensive Tackle Mason Graham is projected to be the first Wolverine off the board. He is slated to go in the top 10 after a productive junior season and a spectacular career in Ann Arbor. The Jaguars at No. 5 and Jets at No. 7 are showing serious interest in Graham. The 6-3 1/2 and 296 is one of the smaller tackles in the class, but is one of the toughest. Graham tallied 45 tackles and 3.5 sacks, leading Michigan to the best run defense in America.
CB: Will Johnson
Defensive Back Will Johnson is slated to go right after Graham. The 6-2, 194-pound corner had magnficent freshman and sophmore seasons, but his junior season was plagued with injuries, but still had 14 tackles and two INT. A team to look out for in regards to Johnson is the San Francisco 49ers at No.11.
TE: Colston Loveland
The Tight End out of Idaho is projected to be Michigan fooball's third pick of the first round. Loveland is 6-6 and 248 pounds and had 117 receptions for 1,466 yards and 11 touchdowns. He missed three games last year and still led the Wolverines in receiving yards and touchdowns. A good landing spot is the Indianapolis Colts at No.14.
DT: Kenneth Grant
The wild card here is Defensive Tackle Kenneth Grant who is suppose to be a fringe first round pick. The 6-4, 341-pounder accounted for 6.5 tackles for loss and three sacks. If Grant doesnt hear his name called Thursday, he will almost certainly be one of the first ones selected Friday.
The Wolverines have yet to have four first-round picks within their historic program. They look to break that on Thursday.
