The Michigan Wolverines are coming off a National Championship and could potentially have not just one, but two top 10 NBA Draft picks in the upcoming draft. If players were unsure about playing for the Wolverines before, those two things certainly will sway them more now.
Head coach Dusty May has done an excellent job recruiting out of the transfer portal in the offseason and also landing a few late 2026 recruits. If May was having any trouble with recruiting, he might have just gotten the best photo to help him out.
Three Wolverines heading to the NBA Draft can prove great for recruiting
The Michigan basketball social media page recently posted a photo of three Wolverines who are heading to the NBA Draft: Yaxel Lendeborg, Aday Mara, and Morez Johnson Jr.

This is a fantastic photo that May could use when trying to bring in recruits to show players that playing at Michigan can get you to the NBA. Both Lendeborg and Mara are projected to be potential top 10 picks, while Johnson could also go in the first round.
This type of recruiting tool can be used to bring top players to the Wolverines, beating out other blue blood schools like Duke, UNC, and Kansas. If players can know that their NBA dreams can truly become a reality at Michigan, along with the potential of truly winning a National Championship, why wouldn't recruits pick the Wolverines?
May has already proven to be a great recruiter, but this could add a new layer to his recruiting system. Lendeborg, Mara, and Johnson are all bound to go in the first round of the 2026 NBA Draft, and Michigan needs to use that to its advantage.
