Danny Wolf got to live the dream we all had as kids, and that was to suit up in your favorite team's uniform and compete night after night in the sport you love most. For Wolf, it was wearing the Maize and Blue at Michigan and helping his team fight to win a National Championship.
Even though Wolf and the Wolverines were unable to finish the last part of winning a National Championship, he will still forever remember and be remembered for his one season at Michigan. After announcing that he would forgo his final season at Michigan and declare for the 2025 NBA Draft, Wolf bid one last farewell to his childhood dream team, leaving every Michigan fan wiping away tears.

Looking at what Wolf posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) with the photos of him as a kid wearing Michigan gear, and then reading the first list, every Michigan fan will instantly melt.
"This past year has been one of the greatest of my life," Wolf said in his social media post. "I've had the incredible honor of living out my lifelong dream - playing basketball at the University of Michigan and wearing the Maize and Blue."
That line right there will have Michigan fans sniffling and shedding a tear, knowing that Wolf truly was a Michigan man through and through. Even though he began his career at Yale, he made his way back home to play in a Michigan uniform and go out as a true Wolverine.
Wolf went on to thank his family, friends, and coaches, both his coaches at Michigan and Yale, showing he is a class act. Wolf would not be where he is today without his time at Yale, and he wanted to give thanks for his time with the Bulldogs.
Now that he is heading to the NBA, Wolf will turn all of his focus on preparing for the draft. As a projected first-round pick, Wolf could see playing time in the big leagues sooner than most draftees do. The Michigan big man comes in at 7 feet tall and averaged 13.2 points per game, but also 9.7 rebounds per game.
Wolf will be a big addition to any squad in the NBA, literally with just his height alone. Wolverine fans will certainly be watching to see how his career goes in the pros.
