1. Ohio State 7-0
Idle this week. They face a struggling Penn State team next week.

2. Indiana 7-0
They handled UCLA 56-6. The Hoosiers are for real and quarterback Fernando Mendoza could end up in the running for the Heisman if he and the Hoosiers keep winning. He had four total touchdowns. Next up is Maryland.

3. Oregon 7-1
Oregon didn’t look like their dominate self against Wisconsin but they got the win 21-7. Oregon is idle next week.

4. Michigan 6-2
Michigan leaned on its running game and defense to keep the Paul Bunyan Trophy in Ann Arbor with a 31-20 victory over Michigan State. Next up for the Wolverines is Purdue.

5. Iowa 6-2
The Hawkeyes defensive showed up against Minnesota with three interceptions and four sacks. Iowa won 41-3. 31 of the points came in the first half. Iowa is idle next week.

6. USC 5-2
Idle this week. Next up is a primetime game on the road against Nebraska.

7. Nebraska 6-2
Nebraska held off Northwestern 28-21 behind a 124-yard, two-touchdown performance from running back Emmett Johnson. The Cornhuskers host USC next week.

8. Washington 6-2
Washington beat then #23 Illinois 42-25. Quarterback Demond Williams Jr. went 26/33 for 280 yards and four touchdowns. He also ran for 66 yards. Washington is idle next week.

9. Illinois 5-3
Illinois had a rough time against Washington losing 42-25 and dropping out of the Top 25. They have a chance to get back on track next week against Rutgers at home.

10. Maryland 4-3
Idle this week. Maryland has a tough test next week against #2 Indiana.

11. Rutgers 4-4
Rutgers came back from a 10-0 deficit in the first quarter to defeat Purdue 27-24. The Scarlet Knights will look to move above .500 next week against the Fighting Illini.

12. Minnesota 5-3
Turnovers did the Gophers in against Iowa in a 41-3 blowout. They’ll look to get back on track at home next week against Michigan State.

13. Northwestern 5-3
Northwestern came back from being down 21-6 in the third quarter to tie the game but didn’t have enough to beat Nebraska, falling 28-21. Northwestern is idle next week.

14. Penn State 3-4
Idle this week. Penn State has a chance to make something out of this season if they can pull off a major upset against #1 Ohio State next week.

15. Michigan State 3-5
Michigan State kept the game close before Michigan found its running game. A scoreless first and third quarter hurt the Spartans in a 31-20 defeat to Michigan. Next up for Michigan State is a road trip against Minnesota.

16. UCLA 3-5
The turnaround came to an abrupt end as least for now against #2 Indiana in a 56-6 defeat. UCLA will be idle next week.

17. Purdue 2-6
The Boilermakers couldn’t hold onto a ten-point lead, losing to Rutgers 27-24. Purdue travels to Ann Arbor to face #21 Michigan next week.

18. Wisconsin 2-6
The offense couldn’t get anything going for the Badgers until the fourth quarter, losing 21-7 to #6 Oregon. Wisconsin is idle next week.
