Recipe: Halloween candy ranked

We are going to mix it up a little bit this week. Instead of providing a game-day recipe, I am going to rank the top five Halloween candies to get while trick-or-treating.

1. Butterfinger- My personal favorite candy bar. Great marketing, great wrapper and great taste.

2. Snickers- Hard to beat a Snickers. It is filling, delicious and another one that has done a great job with branding.

3. Reese's Cups: Reese's Cups always hit the spot. Pro tip: they taste even better when frozen. A timeless classic.

4. Peanut M&M's: By far the superior type of M&M. Great wrapper and great taste. One of those candies you feel like you could eat a million of.

5. Skittles: Have to show the fruity candy some love. Skittles remain the king of fruity candy. Another one that you feel like you can eat a million of.

Beer of the week: Guiness

Guinness is an Irish stout from Dublin, Ireland. It has an ABV of 4.2% and is one of the most classic beers in the world that seems to be especially delicious on a crisp Fall afternoon. Guinness is simple and gets the job done... a phrase I hope describes the Michigan football offense this weekend against Rutgers.

Prop bets of the week: Tommy Carr over 190 passing yards at +100 Jordan Marshall and Savion Hiter anytime Touchdown scorers parlay at +146

We are coming off of a week where we went 2/3 on prop bets and were well into the green in terms of profit. That brings the total on the year so far to 8/15 and a profiting balance of money if you remain consistent with your units.

Tommy Carr over 190 passing yards I like it because I think we see a confident quarterback tomorrow. He is coming off facing one of the best defenses in the nation last week and is now traveling to face the 100th ranked passing defense, in Rutgers.

Carr seems to have a great head on his shoulders, and I think he will be disciplined in his approach but ready to let it loose. I think Michigan's wide receivers and tight ends (please use the tight ends Jason Beck) will be too much for the Rutgers defensive backfield to handle. I am also looking for them to hit on a couple of deep balls.

We have not seen this team test the defense vertically enough this year and tomorrow is the perfect opportunity. Don't be surprised if you see a Salesi Moa double move at some point.

The next play I like for a big payout is for Jordan Marshall and Savion Hiter to both find the end zone. Rutgers rushing defense ranks 128th against the run.

Marshall and Hiter should both have big games tomorrow. I am hopeful that Jason Beck runs them between the tackles and limits the amount of runs outside of the tackles. If Beck lets the Michigan offensive line impose their will on the Rutgers defensive line, both of our backs will score a touchdown.

Tomorrow's game is so important for this Michigan offense. There is no doubt they have the far superior team in terms of athleticism, size and skill and they need to play like it. As they say in basketball, you need to see the ball go through the net in order to start finding a rhythm. The same can be said about this Michigan offense.

The Wolverines need to have a game where they see everything working and coming together in order to build confidence. This week is the perfect week to do that before we go into a rivalry game vs little brother and then end the season with three big ones against Oregon, UCLA and the Buckeyes. Go Blue!
