There are few Michigan football players who garner as much affection from the fanbase as Aidan Hutchinson.

The No. 2 overall pick of the Detroit Lions in the 2022 NFL draft, as well as the Heisman Trophy Runner-up back in 2021, will forever be a Michigan football legend, particularly for his senior season and his three-sack effort against Ohio State to end the Buckeyes' decade of dominance.

Hutchinson could have left Michigan football for the NFL draft and been an early draft pick after 2020. Instead, he chose to say (those who stay will become champions, just like Bo said,) and it all worked out beautifully.

Ever since entering the NFL, Hutchinson has been a force, arguably the best pass rusher in the NFL. Through the first 39 games of his career, Hutch has 28.5 sacks, 30 tackles for loss, 65 QB hits, three interceptions, 10 pass breakups, four forced fumbles and four fumble recoveries.

Last season, the Michigan football legend had 7.5 sacks in just five games before suffering a season-ending Achilles injury against the Cowboys. The Lions still won 15 games but were knocked out in the divisional playoffs.

The defense wasn't the same without Hutchinson. Yet, the good news is that the 2023 Pro Bowl selection looks ready for the 2025 season, as the Detroit Times posted a video of him running at what looks to be full speed on Thursday.

The Michigan football great wasn't just running, he was also working on pass-rush moves and seems to have his explosiveness back.

That's great news for Lions fans, as the Michigan football legend will surely be on a mission to get the franchise to the Super Bowl, just like he helped the Wolverines get over the mountain that was the Ohio State Buckeyes.
