On Wednesday night, the first injury report for Michigan vs. Indiana came out, and it's less than ideal for the Wolverines.

The Hoosiers, amazingly, don't have a single player listed on the injury report. Michigan football has 15. Half of those players are starters.

Andrew Sprague has been ruled out for another week. It's anyone's guess at this point if Sprague will be able to return this season after missing the last four games.

However, Sprague isn't the only offensive lineman who could miss Saturday's game against the defending national champions. Three Michigan football starters on the offensive line: Jake Guarnera, Brady Norton, and Blake Frazier are listed as questionable.

Michigan football could be without multiple starters againt Indiana in Week 8

Guarnera was on the injury report last week, yet was able to play. Frazier has also battled through injuries all season to play. He's been the starting right tackle with Sprague out. Evan Link has held down the spot at left tackle and done so admirably.

Brady Norton missed last week's game. Avery Gach got the start. He's questionable again, although Andrew Babalola is listed as probable. He was active for the game last week.

Three defensive starters are also questionable. Rod Moore left the game against Penn State last week after a diving interception that sparked the comeback win. The Michigan captain was taken back to the locker room to be evaluated.

Moore returned to the field and was able to ride the stationary bike. Whittingham said it might be a challenege for him to play this week right after the game, but a questionable designation seems promising.

John Henry Daley and Dom Nichols are questionable, too. Both defenders had the same designation last week and were able to play. Those two players have combined for 6.5 of Michigan football's 15 sacks, so having both of them available against Indiana will be crucial.

Offensive line injuries, unfortunately, have been a theme since Michigan football training camp, when Babalola got banged up for the second year in a row. He missed the entire 2025 season with an ACL injury.

You wonder if Babalola could be used as a Rhino. Avery Gach seems to carry more favor right now. He also came off a solid outing in his first career start in the 21-18 win over Penn State. Whittingham also said Babalola feels most comfortable at left tackle.
