Michigan is at a coaching disadvantage

This is about the coordinators more than the head coach but there are problems everywhere. Sherrone Moore wasted a timeout trying to challenge when he couldn't. The Wolverines gave up a free first down because of a weird formation, and even though people want to blame Kirk Campbell, Sherrone Moore could have easily vetoed the trick play or simply told Campbell to play Warren.

He didn't. That's as troubling as Campbell calling a trick play on fourth-and-three with any hope of a comeback on the line. Convert there and it's a game. But missing was a backbreaker.

It's been clear from day one that Wink Martindale is clueless. Maybe he's trying to get fired to get free money next season for not coaching but it's hard to have another explanation. The Wolverines were ravaged by injuries but the performance of a defensive with that D-line has been pathetic.

Wink has to go and Campbell does too. It's not even about play calls. Campbell just feels in over his head and that goal-to-go sequence was the best example of that yet.
