A fast start for Michigan football

For the first time all season, Michigan football seems to have confidence. The Wolverines were a confident team last week and reminded you of the past three years for the first time.

Michigan won games this season but they didn't put together four full quarters of football. Even in non-conference play, Michigan was sloppy. Last week was a complete effort though and you could feel it lift up the program.

I'd feel much worse about Michigan's chances of making this a game before last week. I expected a 20-10 win. That's about what I expect, in favor of the Buckeyes on Saturday.

But Michigan football will start fast. It will pull out some things stuffed in the back pocket. U-M will grab a lead in the first quarter, even if it's 3-0. It will also be a one-score game at halftime.
