Davis Warren will look more comfortable

Northwestern's defense is solid. The Wildcats only allow 22 points per game and 356 yards, which is pretty impressive considering the offense is bad as it is.

Michigan has struggled with pass protection. The Wildcats have 20 sacks to their credit. So the offensive line will need to play better. But man, it just fees like Michigan will be able to run the ball and if they can do that, and offer a little protection, Warren will be good enough to win this game.

I don't see him throwing for much more than 100 yards. Maybe between 125-150. I can see him tossing one touchdown, maybe to Loveland or Edwards, but Warren will do enough to allow the defense and running game of Michigan to win.

Wolverines will cover the spread

The spread has dipped to 10.5 points. This will be a competitive game. It's not going to be completey decided until the fourth quarter and it's not going to be pretty.

That being said, we'll see an inspired effort from Michigan football. The defense will have one of its best games of the year and the offense will too, led by its two best running backs.

Prediction: Michigan 24, Northwestern 10
