Wolverines gut out a win

I don't expect this to be pretty. Michigan football is flawed. The offensive line hasn't been as good as we expected and the quarterback position has been one of the biggest disasters in college football.

Still, the Wolverines have won four of five games at home. The only team to win at the Big House this season was Texas. USC came close. Minnesota, Fresno State, and Arkansas State were much closer than expected.

This is going to be close. The Spartans are a 4.5-point underdog and I wouldn't be surprised at all if they cover. Michigan's running game will get something going, but the Wolverines will still need to kick some field goals and get either a defensive touchdown or some short fields.

Warren will probably throw at least one interception, but you can probably count on one from Chiles too, especially if Will Johnson, who is questionable, is able to play.

Michigan will find a way to gut it out and salvage something this season, 20-17.
