The maize and blue will lose at least two quarterbacks this offseason. Jayden Denegal and Jack Tuttle will move on in their respective paths. That opens the door for the chosen one and perhaps another transfer or two. Michigan football head coach Sherrone Moore is on record saying that his program is looking for a transfer quarterback to possibly bring in. The following is a list of three quarterbacks who Coach Moore could invite to join Team 146 if the stars align.

1. Chandler Morris, North Texas

With one year of eligibility remaining Morris could split time with Bryce Underwood in 2025. He aired it out with the Mean Green for a career-high in touchdowns and passing yards in 2024. He has Power Four conference experience too. He threw over 400 plus yards for one-third of the Mean Green's season, which is something that none of the quarterbacks on the Michigan roster could even sniff this season. MSN believes Michigan football could be a landing spot for him.

In a Michigan offense, he wouldn't have to throw dimes all over the field because of the stable of running backs to choose from. It certainly wouldn't hurt his pro chances by going to a place like Michigan to compete against the best competition as well. Morris is a little on the skinny side, but a year in the strength and conditioning program could do wonders for his body type.

Morris will take some visits to Big 12 schools according to Matt Zenitz.
