Expectations have changed

At the start of the season, it felt like making the NCAA tournament would have been a success. Now, we are wondering how far this team can go.

In the latest bracketology projections, Michigan basketball is up to a No. 4 seed. The Wolverines are 5-0 in the Big Ten and will be heavily favored to get to 7-0.

Illinois just lost an unexpected game. Michigan State, Oregon, Purdue, and Illinois will be the other top contenders, but at this point, anything other than a top-4 finish in the Big Ten and a decent seed in the NCAA tournament would be a disappointment.

It feels like this team has the potential to reach the second weekend and beyond. Imagine if the offense starts taking care of the ball even better? That's why other teams should be worried.

As good as this team is playing, Michigan basketball still hasn't playing its best yet.

if it does, the sky is the limit.
