Eight days off didn't provide any rust for the coaches no.1 ranked team in the country. The Wolverines won their sixth game by 30 or more and will enjoy another eight day rest until their out of conference play ceases to exist for a while. The 52-point margin was the largest of the season, but not by a mile. The 50 points is the fewest allowed and 17 under from what they have been allowing.

As a whole Michigan shot two times better then the Explorers from the field and made 12 more threes then did LaSalle.

On the fourth day of 2025 UAB slammed Tulsa by 32 and the national player of the year candidate only recorded nine points. On Sunday he had one less and played his shortest minutes of the season. The future lottery pick could have sat out on Sunday and Michigan would still have covered the spread.
