No matter what Dominic Zvada accomplishes in his Michigan football career, he will always be remembered for the upset kick of this millennium in the Horseshoe. In 2025, he'll continue to shatter the records that were set before him and by him in just one season in Ann Arbor. These are three of those records that he can realistically set or extend, while carving his name as Michigan's second kicker to win the Lou Groza award.

1. Most consecutive field goals made

Heading into the season, Zvada has made 13 field goals in a row, and the record stands at 16 by Brendan Gibbons, who also did it over a two-year period. He should easily decimate this record by the end of the year with how effortlessly he makes it look. He would have had the record already if not for a blocked attempt in the Illinois loss at Champagne.

2. Highest field goal percentage made

Zvada already holds this record at 96%, so improving this stat should be a piece of cake for him. His rare combination of accuracy and leg power is unlike anything that Michigan football has ever seen before at the position. He is a full 10% better than James Turner on a minimum of 20 attempts made in a single season. This record could seal Zvada's fate as the greatest kicker in Michigan history if he doesn't miss.

3. Most 50-yard plus field goals made

This one may be the coolest record of them all. He made seven last year and will seek to expand upon it in 2025. Three kickers are tied for second at four, so this unbreakable record may stand for a long time. The only burning question that remains is will he break Jake Moody's record of 59 yards? The temptation will probably be too much to resist, and I can see Sherrone Moore letting him attempt a 60-yarder or more at the end of a half or when the timing is appropriate.
