A 21-16 win over Purdue is not appealing enough for the playoff committee to move Michigan up the rankings, and for good reason. Nonetheless, Michigan football is still in contention for all of its postseason goals, and that's what the Wolverines will consider as November has arrived. Two more wins and the eyes of the country will be glued to Ann Arbor for another chapter in the sport's most galvanizing rivalry. Here are this week's most amusing overreactions from the social media masses.

1. I am disgusted with this victory formation

Saturday night was supposed to be a comfortable win, it was anything but that. It brought out some classic overreactions from all over social media again, including this one. Winning the way that you don't want your favorite team to win happens a lot with Michigan, mostly since the Sherrone Moore era began. My advice would be get used to it and enjoy the wins while you can. Michigan has now won 10 of its last 12 games and they can snap the nation's longest winning streak in three weeks. Personally I will never get tired of that.

There's no doubt that Michigan football left points on the field Saturday. They were inside the red zone three times, and Bryce Underwood turned it over twice, while they let the clock tick away on the final possession of the night. I truly believe that if Michigan had scored at least one more touchdown, then there wouldn't be another Twitter meltdown like there seems to be after every Michigan win. This is another laughable overreaction, which holds no merit.
