Limiting Iowa from 3

You aren't going to stop Iowa from knocking down 3-pointers. But you want to make them work for it and shoot as many difficult 3-point shots as possible.

The Hawkeyes are very good in transition. Michigan's transition defense was excellent against Xavier and it wil be tested again by Iowa. The Hawkeyes also do a lot more screening away from the ball, and cutting than most teams. This isn't a ball-screen-heavy offense.

Communicating on defense, especially in transition will be key. Michigan has tried to switch most screens this season which should limit some of those assisted 3-pointers Iowa lives on.

Michigan is allowing just 7.8 assists per game. Iowa is averaging 20.3 so that's going to be a key battle to watch.
