Michigan football notched a legendary win over Ohio State on Saturday and here are the gut reactions.

Jim Harbaugh is such a good head coach, he didn’t even need to be in the stadium to get his third win over Ohio State as Michigan football head coach.

Harbaugh had to watch the from home and like we all expected, it was an epic battle between the Buckeyes and Wolverines — between good and evil.

But in the end, the good guys prevailed.

J.J. McCarthy needed to be the difference maker for Michigan football and he was. His touchdown pass to Roman Wilson was incredible and he made just enough plays for the Wolverines to win the game.

You also have to give credit to Blake The Great. He cemented his Michigan football legacy with his two-touchdown performance and a slew of first downs on the drive that helped seal a win.

Ohio State scored its final touchdown with over eight minutes left. The Buckeyes were down three. Michigan football didn’t give it back until just over a minute left.

Then, Rod Moore called game.

It was incredible. (Sorry for the delay on the gut reactions, was too busy owning people on Twitter and enjoying a celebratory drinky-poo).

Here are the gut reactions.

Gut reactions from Michigan fotoball win over Ohio State

  • J.J. McCarthy is 3-0 against Ohio State. He’s a Michigan football legend.
  • Blake The Great. That’s all that needs to be said.
  • The offensive line took over after Zak Zinter went out. Gutsy.
  • That Blake Corum touchdown, as well as flashing the 65 was chilling. That’s when I knew Michigan was going to win.
  • Ok. I actually didn’t know Michigan was going to win until Rod Moore.
  • Remember, Ohio State didn’t want Rod Moore.
  • You can’t tell me No. 2 didn’t look like Charles Woodson on that pick. That’s what great Michigan players do — make big plays against Ohio State.
  • Sherrone Moore is a better head coach than Ryan Day. He was gutsy when Day was timid and that was the difference in the game.
  • Ohio State kicked field goals when it needed touchdowns.
  • Good throw by Donovan Edwards. Should have been six, but it was still a tremendous call.
  • Crying Ryan Day is the biggest loser in college football.
  • Ryan Day’s team isn’t tough. Hopefully, he can find Lou Holtz.
  • WHERE IS JIM HARBAUGH!!!???
  • Also, give Jim a lifetime contract.
  • The team that won the rushing battle won the game. Again.
  • There will never be another “Game” like this and Michigan football won it.
  • Let’s Party like it’s 1997.
  • Go Blue!
