Containing Taulia Tagovailoa

If Michigan football is going to leave College Park with a win, the Wolverines will need to do a solid job against Taulia Tagovailoa.

Tagovailoa has struggled against Michigan in the past and has averaged just under 200 yards per game. He’s got two touchdowns and three interceptions against the Wolverines.

Maryland got a big win last week against Nebraska, but Tagovailoa wasn’t perfect. He’s completing 64 percent of his passes this season for the Terps. He also has 22 touchdown passes to his credit, as well as eight interceptions.

Michigan is likely the best pass defense Tagovailoa will face this season. He also led the Terps to just 15 points against Penn State. It’s hard to see Maryland getting 20 on Saturday.
