Michigan running back Blake Corum runs for a first down during the first half against Bowling Green on Saturday, Sept. 16 2023, in Ann Arbor. /

2. Blake Corum hits 100 yards

I love the way that Michigan football has been using Corum this season. Last week, he was stellar but got just nine attempts which limited his production to 69 yards and a touchdown.

To be fair, I thought Corum would have more usage in that game. I also thought Minnesota would give Michigan football more of a challenge.

However, the two pick-sixes really ended any chance of that game being competitive. Really, the second Will Johnson got his hands on that Athan Kaliakmanis pass, you knew the game was over and that it wasn’t going to be close.

This one should be more competitive. The weather is going to be a factor, which should lead to 15 carries or so for Corum and if he touches the ball much, he will hit the century mark against a defense allowing 4.7 yards per attempt.
