3 keys to Michigan football victory against Indiana
Limit the big plays
Indiana changed offensive coordinators at just the right time since the Hoosiers had a bye week last week, which allowed Rod Carey to get his system installed.
I doubt it’s going to be dramatically different. But the Hoosiers have to hope the results are much different because they rank 114th in scoring offense. Indiana is 65th in terms of scoring defense, but it’s been a struggle to score.
Cam Camper is a wideout that Michigan football fans need to know. He has 13 receptions for 249 yards and a score. He’s also averaging 19.7 yards per reception. Former Wolverine Christian Turner and Jayin Lucas lead the Indiana ground game, but if a big play is to be made, my money is on Camper.
The Wolverines have allowed a touchdown play of at least 35 yards or more in three straight games, including a touchdown right before half last week against Minnesota, as well as one on the opening drive to Rutgers.
That sort of thing can’t keep happening. Michigan needs to stop that streak against Indiana, and also not overreact too much to the new offensive coordinator.
