Pound the rock

One thing that Michigan football is good at doing is sticking with what works. The Wolverines have one of the best offensive lines in the country and some of the best running backs in Blake Corum and Donovan Edwards.

Kalel Mullings is also coming off a solid game. He had over 40 yards on five carries last week. He had a 20-yard rushing touchdown on fourth-and-one last week and looks much improved.

Donovan Edwards also looked better last week and Minnesota has allowed an average of 4.2 yards per rushing attempt, so Michigan football should be able to control the line of scrimmage.

The offensive line rotation is going to be interesting to me. I’m guessing LaDarius Henderson will start, but that others will play such as Trente Jones and Myles Hinton if healthy.

Michigan loves to grind people to dust with their defense and running game. We’ll see if the Wolverines can do it again in Minnesota.
