Georgia won’t get threatened until mid-September when they face off with Spencer Rattler and South Carolina, but it’s at home so they should continue their winning ways. Two weeks later they go to Auburn for their first road game, but Hugh Freeze doesn’t have enough talent to pull off an upset yet.
The annual trip to Jacksonville to square off with Florida a month later looks like another winnable one. Saturday, November 18th is the date to circle on Georgia’s schedule. It could be a top-10 showdown when they head to Knoxville before the collision with Alabama, most likely, in the SEC championship game two weeks later.
Looking for your 2023 national champ? History says it’s either Georgia, Michigan, Ohio State, Alabama, LSU, USC or Penn State

Since 2004, every national champ was ranked among AP preseason poll’s top 7 except Auburn (2010, started No. 22) & FSU (2013, started No. 11)
Overall Georgia’s slate is a little easier to navigate with their most challenging test not coming until November.
Trips to Nebraska, Minnesota, and East Lansing will be grueling, but Michigan football will be favored to be victorious. November will be do or die with Penn State and Maryland on the road, then the battle for a three-game winning streak over its arch-rival.
