Michigan is coming off a stellar 13-1 season, going undefeated in conference play and making the College Football Playoff.
The Wolverines have also compiled excellent recruiting classes in both 2022 (12th in the nation) and 2023 (20th).
Plus, the team returns starting quarterback JJ McCarthy and All-American running back Blake Corum.
So, in short, expectations are high for Jim Harbaugh and company.
When does the Michigan Wolverines season start?
The Michigan Wolverines will host East Carolina on Saturday, September 2.
It marks the first time the two programs have met.
The Wolverines will then host UNLV, Bowling Green and Rutgers before traveling to Nebraska to finish out the month of September.
How to watch the Michigan Wolverines in 2023?
Michigan’s first game will be streamed on Peacock with the next two games airing on CBS and the Big Ten Network, respectively.
Outside of that, nothing is officially confirmed. Although it seems likely that ESPN and ABC will get their fair share of games as well.
