Michigan football is undefeated against these FBS teams
During its existence, Michigan football has played a total of 89 teams that are currently among the FBS in college football.
Michigan football boasts undefeated records against 41 of those teams. There are actually even more teams that the Wolverines are undefeated against. However, some of them no longer have football programs. Others are no longer considered major college football programs such as many of the Ivy League schools.
Still, it’s impressive that Michigan football has undefeated records against 41 of its total FBS opponents, which is 46 percent.
We are going to take a look at every college football team that the Wolverines are still undefeated against prior to the 2023 season and we’ll start with the Group of Five, which happens to include App State.
The Mountaineers upset the Wolverines back in 2007, but they were part of the FCS then, so as an FBS program, Michigan football is 1-0 against them. Unfortunately, we can’t claim undefeated status against them.
