Four Star EDGE Elias Rudolph will be announcing his commitment soon

Elias Rudolph has had an interesting recruitment. The four-star EDGE from Florida started off as an Ohio State lean, before turning into a heavy Michigan football lean.

Following his official visit to Michigan, it seemed as though the Wolverines had locked up his services.

However, Rudolph did not indicate so. He did not cancel his Ohio State visit or announce a commitment date, making some fans nervous. Ohio State looked as though they were retaking the momentum.

That’s all out the window now. Elias Rudolph has just announced that he will be committing on July 3rd and that he will NOT be visiting Ohio State this coming weekend. This, from all angles, appears to mean that Michigan football has won over Rudolph.

Is another commitment coming for Michigan football?

Ranked as the No. 256 player overall in the 2024 recruiting class via the 247 Sports composite rankings, Rudolph is a player who could develop into a monster under strength coach Ben Herbert.

Rudolph is currently 6’4 205 lbs according to 247. Under Herbert, you can expect him to add upwards of 50 pounds.

Rudolph is an extremely exciting prospect, and it’s excellent to see that it appears he will be going blue. You’ve got to imagine that this will only help with fellow recruits Bryce West and Aaron Scott.
