One day after adding its 16th commitment in the 2024 class, Michigan football gets projected three recruits across multiple recruiting sites.

The late spring and summer have always been fertile times for Michigan football recruiting, so it’s really not surprising to see the Wolverines make the surge they have recently up the rankings.

Things took a little longer to get going in the 2023 cycle, but at this point, Michigan football has figured out how to sell itself on the recruiting trail, even in this NIL landscape.

It’s always worth asking who could be next whenever there is a commitment and for Michigan football, there are a few candidates, at least if you buy the expert predictions.

I’m not sure when any of these players will announce their commitments, but here’s a look at a slew of new expert projections for Michigan football.

Trio of expert projections for Michigan football recruiting

Cole Sullivan is a three-star linebacker out of Pennsylvania who got a crystal ball last week to Michigan football from Steve Wiltfong and got another from a Duke insider on Monday.

Sullivan is ranked 596th overall in the 2024 class. He’s 6-foot-3, 200 pounds, and is ranked 16th in the Keystone State. Notre Dame, Stanford, Duke, and Wisconsin are among teams listed as “warm” by 247 sports along with U-M but the Wolverines appear to be the favorite.

Another player that Michigan football has become the favorite to land is four-star linebacker Jeremiah Beasley out of Belleville, Michigan.

Beasley is ranked 265th overall in the 2024 class via the 247 Sports composite rankings. He’s received a slew of crystal ball projections to Michigan football and on Monday, got an expert projection from Chad Simmons of On3.com, the lead recruiting analyst for the site.

The On3 prediction machine gives the Wolverines a 94-percent chance to win the commitment of Beasley, who was considered a Michigan State lean at one time.

Also, a new crystal ball projection is coming from Steve Lorenz of the Michigan Insider. He’s now projecting four-star EDGE Dominic Nichols out of Maryland to commit to the Wolverines.

Nichols is 6-foot-5, 245 pounds and he is ranked 422nd overall, which is a four-star according to the 247 Sports composite rankings.

The EDGE is expected to visit Michigan in early June and that could be a chance for the Wolverines to wrap up another commitment in the 2024 class.
