Like the QB-WR connection

We have seen Michigan football land the former wide receiver of a top-ranked quarterback commitment before as Tyler Morris signed in 2022 after former quarterback J.J. McCarthy signed with the Wolverines in 2021.

The situations are a little bit different because McCarthy transferred to IMG Academy before his senior season, but you saw that chemistry on display a little bit last season and my prediciton is that Morris really ups his production in 2023. His connection to JJ should help.

Having the trust of the quarterback certainly doesn’t hurt and the rapport that Goodwin already has with Jadyn Davis should only make it easier for the two to succeed in Ann Arbor.

It might not be a huge advantage, but the two already have a really solid chemistry and that’s something that could give Goodwin a leg up early in his career.

At the very least, it’s a good thing to make Davis comfortable. Goodwin gives him another reason to feel good about the recruiting class Michigan football is building and if the Wolverines can land Jordan Shipp too, it should make the transition for Davis to college even smoother.
