Michigan football is now projected to land four-star offensive tackle Andrew Sprague, who is one of the top offensive tackles in the 2024 class.

No team in the country has played better on the offensive line over the past two seasons than Michigan football, so it shouldn’t be a shock that blue-chip offensive linemen want to play for the Wolverines and Sherrone Moore.

Not only are the guys getting developed for the NFL, but Michigan football really loves to run the ball and that’s something the hogs up front enjoy.

So far in the 2023 class, Michigan football has added a couple of offensive linemen from the state of Ohio in four-star Luke Hamilton and three-star Ben Roebuck who just committed last week.

That’s a really solid start for Michigan football, but it looks like this is going to be a big class in terms of offensive linemen, and on Wednesday night, the Wolverines got another huge crystal ball projection, this time from Steve Wiltfong.

Michigan football trending for top-10 OT in 2024

Wiltfong put in a crystal ball projecting for Michigan football to land 6-foot-8 offensive tackle Andrew Sprague out of Kansas City.

Sprague is easily one of the top targets on the offensive line board for Michigan football and is ranked ninth at his position according to the 247 sports composite rankings for 2024. He’s also ranked 160th overall and fourth in the state of Missouri.

Here’s what the big offensive tackle recently said to On3 about Michigan football:

"“I put Michigan in my top 10 because of my relationship with Coach Moore, Harbaugh, and the rest of the staff,” Sprague told Hayes Fawcett regarding Michigan. “They won the Joe Moore Award 2 years in a row and I would love to be a part of winning that trophy.”"

Michigan has a better than 90 percent chance to land Sprague also according to the On3 prediction machine and there is talk of him making a visit this spring.

The massive prospect from Kansas City was just in Nebraska over the weekend, but it looks like the Wolverines have emerged as the favorite.

Currently, Michigan has also been trending to land another 4-star offensive tackle in the 2024 class and that’s Blake Frazier (204th overall) out of Texas. And if both of those predictions wind up being true, it’s going to be a great O-line haul for Michigan football in 2024.
